SRAM TECH UPDATE – setting reach adjust on Rival, Force and RED

Reach Adjustment

Welcome to SRAM’s Tech Updates. This will remain a regular feature on The Road Diaries (TRD), and will be in this upper right hand corner, as we expand the functionality of the TRD website.

Reach Set Adjust – setting the reach adjust of the shift paddle and brake lever on your SRAM Rival, Force, and RED shift levers is quite easy. The first true reach adjust allows you to set up the levers to your particular hand size, shape, race needs, and handlebar. You can adjust both independently. There are several different adjustment distances, so you can set the distance that works bets for you. You can establish as much as 10mm of separation between the brake and shift lever paddles.

Watch the video, refence the photos. You can always reference the Tech section of the SRAM website and certainly go to your local shop for any additional needs.

SRAM Tech Paul Damato takes you through the simple steps of setting the reach adjust.
