Carlos Sastre’s Cervelo R3SL

2008 Tour de France Champion Carlos Sastre and his Cervelo Test Team are riding SRAM Red in 2010 and Thor Hushovd’s great 2nd place at Paris Roubaix shows that they have really ‘made the leap’. I caught up with the team before the ‘Fleche Wallonne’ and got some exclusive shots of the bike that Carlos will ride in the ‘Fleche’ and at Liege bastogne Liege on Sunday. Carlos has been trapped in Spain by the recent Volcanic flight disruption and is due to arrive right before the race. Hope he makes it on time!

Alejando is Carlos’ trusted mechanic, if he’s not at the race then Carlos isn’t riding! Alejandro is also Chief Cervelo Test Team technician.
