Alexandre Vinokourov’s Liege bastogne Liege winning S-Works Tarmac SL3 with SRAM Red and Zipp Wheels.
Alexandre Vinokourov won the 2010 Liege Bastogne Liege in fine style yesterday on a brand new S-Works rig complete with custom Vino decor. I caught up with Astana before the race and shot these pics of Vino’s winning ride. Vino’s bike was of course set up with a SRAM Red grupo and Zipp wheels. Vino went for a Zipp 202/404 wheel combo on the day which proved to be a great choice, light and fast.
SRAM Red Shifter were pimped up with White Hoods the day before the race.
Plenty of golden Kazak artwork on Vino’s ride
SRAM Red Rear Derailleur.
SRAM PC1091R Chain and OG1090 Cassette with 11-25t.
And the winner is!
SRAM Red front Derailleur and some trick Gold Chainring Bolts provided by SRAM.
SRAM’s Gore pro cable System.
Zipp 202 on the front stopping power by SRAM Red and Zipp Tangente pads.
Zipp 404 on the back. Vino likes the 202/404 combo.
SRAM Pro cable system seals the cables from the dirt and mud keeping cable friction to a minimum.
Vino’s helpers are ready!
Vino and Alberto ready to do the business in Liege.
