As team Director and ’96 Tour winner Bjarne Riis rolled around the parking lot someone yelled, “comeback.” Riis quickly retorted with, “no, just checking the engine,” referring to ridiculous suspicions that Cancellara raced with an internal frame motor at Paris Roubaix. He got some good laughs.
