Even More “I Chose SRAM” Commercials…

If you’ve watched any of the road race coverage over the past few months on either of the two major networks that cover cycling (in the U.S.), Versus or Universal, then you’ve likely seen a number of the “I Chose SRAM” commercials. The “I Chose” campaign was drawn from the comeback of several top pros over the years that, when given a choice, chose SRAM componentry. A lot of folks believe that athletes absolutely have to ride what their sponsors tell them too. The fact is you cannot force a top athlete to ride something that won’t perform for them.

The athletes that appear in our commercials did so because they wanted to, because they like what we do, and because we have a very good relationship with each of them. We certainly want to thank the riders and their team managers, most of whom waited patiently in the cold (ATOC) or heat (Redlands) to shoot their spot. They did all of these as a favor to us and everyone was gracious and professional. And as soon we will have the blooper reel assembled we will post it, and you will see some of the fun that we had. Last year’s blooper reel was a huge hit, and can be seen here.
