Team MTN-Qhubeka’s Trek Madone SRAM RED

The MTN-Qhubeka team during their December training camp in South Africa. The team counts 15 African and 6 international riders for 2013.

MTN-Qhubeka (South Africa), with its newly Professional Continental team status, will be the first African team to compete at the International cycling level. In 2013, they will have the chance to race some of the most prestigious cycling races in the world.

SRAM is proud to support the MTN-Qhubeka team since 2009. Being part of the team’s evolution and dreams has been a great adventure that we clearly want to continue. Not only because of the team’s sportive achievements and performances but also for what the team stands for and supports.

The Qhubeka name has a very powerful meaning in Nguni (Zulu, Xhosa):  “to carry on”, “to progress”, “to move forward”. All year long, by providing bicycles, Qhubeka carries projects which help rural communities to improve their daily life.

Beyond racing, MTN-Qhubeka team aims to improve people’s life!
