Mark Cavendish’s Specialized S-Works Venge with SRAM RED

Mark Cavendish (Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Pro Cycling Team), the superstar sprinter, not only wears a new jersey but also rides on a new bike and new components. For his first race on SRAM RED, Zipp and Quarq, Mark won the field sprint to take the Opening stage of the Tour de San Luis (Monday 21, 2013), ahead of Sacha Modolo (Bardiani Valvole-CSF Inox) and Alessandro Petacchi (Lampre-Merida).

What a great start to the season. Mark Cavendish on his new 2013 bike won the Tour of Qatar with four impressive stage victories!

Depending on the stage he rides either the Zipp 808 Firecrest Tubular or a combination of Zipp 808 (rear)/404 (front) Firecrest Tubular.
