UNVEILED – The new SRAM NRS Volvo Polestar XC 70′s!

SRAM started working with the NRS crew the same year they introduced their first complete road groups, 2006. The NRS supports countless road and cross races, camps, Fondos, and SRAM specific events.

SRAM’s all new eight car Neutral Race Support (NRS) fleet has been released! The first cars could be seen at events as early as mid-March (US only). SRAM’s NRS program is the nation’s premiere cycling support crew that provides neutral service to professionals and amateurs at over 150 cycling events annually. The fully SRAM-Zipp-Specialized decaled cars will locate to Rhode Island, Illinois, Texas, California, and Virginia. Each car can expect to travel 50,000+ miles over the course of the year.

The SRAM NRS program starts with a top notch staff that includes several of the nations premiere technicians, including Butch Balzano, Jose Alcala, and Chad Contreras. Each of their Volvo XC-70′s, capable of hauling up to six Specialized bikes, tools, spare parts, pumps, wheels, coolers. Each is a virtual rolling service course.

The new Polestar edition of the XC 70 is new and adds 25 more horsepower and an improved 30 pound-feet of torque.
