      Thor Hushovd takes SRAM RED & Zipp to the top step of the podium

      Cervelo Test Team’s Thor Hushovd comes good on stage 6 of the 75th Vuelta a España. The challenging stage profile shredded most sprinters, but Thor battled his way up the Alto de la Cresta del Gallo, the category two ascent. Hushovd prevailed in the field sprint from a diminished peloton, propelling SRAM RED and Zipp to it’s first win of this year’s Vuelta.

      were Top 10 finishers in the Vattenfall Classic in Hamburg, Germany on August 15th in a close sprinters race.

      On a cool, overcast Sunday morning, the 216.6km Vattenfall Classic started with a long circuit of the countryside

      SRAM RED equipped Alexander Vinokourov (Astana) and Carlos Sastre (Cervelo) finished 2nd & 3rd in Spain’s top one-day race, the Clasica San Sebastian in a close finish with LL Sanchez (Caisse d’Epargne). Sanchez attacked on the second climb of the Jaizkibel and only Vinokourov and Sastre could get across to him.
