Here’s the final Pit Crew for the launch of the Alberto and Lance Paris bikes: L-R Ben (Trek), Craig (Astana Tech), Fausto (Astana Tech), Javi (Astana Tech), Chris “PinkPants” (Chief Astana Tech), and Jase Phillips (SRAM)

AC’s Trek Studio shot. Now that’s provenance.

Lance’s radical Damien Hirst bike, Trek Studio shot.
You’ve probably already seen the real-deal video and web images from the Champs this past Sunday but here’s what they looked like after assembly the morning before they were showered in Champagne and millions of eyeballs. Each bike draped with unique hand finished SRAM Red bits.
Nope, at this time we don’t have plans on releasing alternate color versions of SRAM Red, though if you plan on campaigning at the head of a grand tour or stylin’ an Olympic Gold Medal some time in the future, please call us!
To date here are the SRAM Athletes who we’ve proudly developed some themed parts for:
- Lance Armstrong (Stages & Livestrong Madone, TTX and Speed Concept machines )
- Alberto Contador (The White Pistolero Madone & Speed Concept + his Giro, Vuelta, & TdFrance winning Madones & Speed Concepts)
- Fabian Cancellara (2009 Tdf Jersey holder bike)
- Jan Frodeno (2008 Gold Medal Triathlon)
- Michellie Jones (Triathlon super-legend & sport’s senior style council member)
Here’s a pic of Jan’s Felt with gold touches:

We hope to do more, ’cause winning feels and looks damn good!
